It's that time of the year...snow, cold, already broken resolutions and my favorite - DATABASES!!!! That's right, we are starting to put together the pricing for databases for the 2011-2012 school year for those districts that participate in our 510 database CoSer. Sometime during the next week or so you will recieve your first-of-many emails that are involved in this process. If you know of any databases your district is dropping or adding, please let me know. If you are not sure what is purchased for your district through this CoSer, drop me an e-mail and I'll send you what I have listed for this year.If there is any you would like to get a free trial to check out, let Mary Ann know.
Check out Common Sense Media's Digital Citizenship curriculum. It's free, but it helps to register. http://www.commonsensemedia.org/educators I came across a really good vodcast from Mark Eisenberg on the role of the reacher-librarian.
